I have seen first hand how truly impactful Girls Inc. of Westchester is on the lives of the girls they serve - girls from all areas of our county and particularly those from under-served and under-resourced areas. Girls Inc. gives girls opportunities for experiences they otherwise would not have through educational enrichment & SAT/ACT prep programs, leadership development, confidence-building, STEM,  programs that build self-esteem, and so much more. 

A significant portion of the funding for Girls Inc. Westchester is achieved through their annual Strong, Smart & Bold Gala. The gala will be held on April 7, 2022 at The Glen Island Harbour Club in New Rochelle, NY.   At the gala, we will honor two very special Westchester women known for their commitment to diversity, advocacy, and empowerment - Mimi Rocah, Westchester District Attorney and Jasmine Bellamy, Head of Merchandising and Change Management at Reebok and Founder and Cultural and Business Transformer at Love 101 Ministries.  We are also excited to announce the Altman Advocacy Award honoring Jennifer Altman, Ph.D.  This award has been created to acknowledge the impact that commitment and passion for change can have on an individual, a community and an organization.
