As the Executive Director of Girls Inc. of Westchester County, I have seen firsthand how truly impactful their programs are on the lives of the girls they serve - girls from all areas of our county - particularly those from under-served and under-resourced areas.

Girls Inc. gives girls opportunities for experiences they otherwise would not have through educational enrichment, leadership development, confidence-building, STEAM, and so much more. The evidence-based programming is delivered by trained professionals who focus on the development of the whole girl by supporting, mentoring, and guiding girls in an affirming, pro-girl environment. Girls learn to value their whole selves, discover, and develop their inherent strengths, and receive the support they need to navigate the challenges they face.

Girls Inc. girls live healthy and active lifestyles and are less likely to engage in risky behavior. They are eager to learn, successful in school, and more likely to graduate from post-secondary education. Girls Inc. girls are more confident than their peers and display diligence, perseverance and resilience.

A significant portion of the funding for Girls Inc. Westchester programs come from individual donors just like you who believe in the work that Girls Inc. does to inspire, educate, and elevate girls by building their confidence and self-esteem.

I am asking you to consider a tax-deductible donation of any amount to help this wonderful organization. With your support, Girls Inc. of Westchester County will be able to continue the informative and inspirational programs that girls so desperately need. I hope I can count on you to be a champion for girls. With you in their corner, girls will succeed.

Our Mission:

Inspiring all girls to be Strong, Smart, and Bold.

Thank you in advance for your support.

ABOUT GIRLS INC. OF WESTCHESTER COUNTY

Girls Incorporated of Westchester County (GIWC) is an affiliate of Girls Incorporated, a 160 year old national nonprofit whose network of local Girls Inc. nonprofit organizations serve girls ages 9-18 at more than 1,500 sites in 350 cities across the United States and Canada.

GIWC is a full-year empowerment and leadership development organization dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of girls. We seek to inspire all girls to be Strong, Smart, and Bold! GIWC was established in 2007 and delivers girls-only programming in a safe and nurturing environment through our in-school and after-school program partners, in community centers and youth bureaus throughout Westchester County, and virtually through our wide-ranging online program options. Our evidence-based programming is delivered by trained professional Program Facilitators who focus on the development of the whole girl, supporting, mentoring, and guiding girls in an affirming, pro-girl environment. Here, girls learn to value their whole selves, discover and develop their inherent strengths, and receive the support they need to navigate the challenges they face.

Through our programs, girls learn to value themselves, take risks, and discover and develop their inherent strengths. The combination of long-lasting mentoring relationships, a pro-girl environment, and research-based programming equips girls to navigate gender, economic, and social barriers, and grow up healthy, educated, and independent.

Girls Inc. Westchester is a 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt organization. All donations are tax-deductible.
