STRONG, SMART & BOLD!

Girls Inc. of Westchester County is a 501c3 non-profit organization that provides year-long mentoring to girls ages 6-18 in Westchester County, NY. Girls Inc. of Westchester helps girls feel empowered, build self-confidence, improve their self-esteem, build critical thinking skills, and avoid risky behaviors that could impact the rest of their life.

I am so grateful and honored to be the new Executive Director for Girls Inc. of Westchester County.  As most of my family and friends know, my commitment is to empower young people to do their best and to accomplish their dreams.  I ask all of my supporters to extend a hand by donating to Girls Inc. of Westchester County to help young women in underserved populations be empowered to succeed.

Our evidence-based programming is delivered by trained professionals who focus on the development of the whole girl, supporting, mentoring, and guiding girls in an affirming, pro-girl environment. Here, girls learn to value their whole selves, discover and develop their inherent strengths, and receive the support they need to navigate the challenges they face.

Girls Inc. girls live healthy and active lifestyles and are less likely to engage in risky behavior; they are eager to learn, successful in school, and more likely to graduate from post-secondary education; and they display diligence, perseverance and resilience.

I have seen first hand how truly impactful Girls Inc. of Westchester County programs are on the lives of the girls they serve - girls from all areas of our county -  particularly those from under-served and under-resourced areas. Girls Inc. gives girls opportunities for experiences they otherwise would not have through educational enrichment & SAT prep programs, leadership development, confidence-building, STEM, and so much more.

A significant portion of the funding for Girls Inc. is achieved through their annual gala held in April of each year. The annual gala the past two years has been either cancelled or held virtually due to the Coronavirus pandemic which affected the financial results. However, the social, emotional, and educational needs of the girls they serve remain.

Can you please consider a tax deductible donation of any amount to help this wonderful organization through these challenging times?

With your support, Girls Inc. of Westchester County will be able to continue the informative and inspirational programs that girls so desperately need.

I hope I can count on you to be a champion for girls.

With you in her corner, anything is possible.
